| Langbaurgh Spring Week 4 | |
| Good Morning, In a similar vain to making pilgrimage to Lourdes, the club is returning to Langbaurgh its spiritual home for the first time this year! To those of you have not been it is a fully fledged outdoor kart track: wide, long (1.2 km) and fast. The fact we will be driving twin engine pro-karts capable of 60mph make this event well worth attending. The event itself will be made up of a 20 minute practice/qualifying and a 40 minute race and full safety equipment is provided for only £40. If you are in the BUKC team I strongly advise coming to this event as Langbaurgh is the first circuit we will be racing on, but if you are a novice it is the perfect way to break your outdoor duck. It is that time of year to get some great branded clothing to show everyone around campus (and the world) how much you really love your karting club! We're getting some hoodies made for £25, but if a hoodie isn't your sort of thing, there's also the offer of polo shirts for £18. If you want to splash out we have a soft shell jacket for £35 similar to the one modelled by our dear leader Gilly. However if cash is a bit tight and you find yourself with a cold head in these winter month, we have beanie hats with the Yorksport logo for only £8. If you are racing in BUKC this gear is a must have, if you are not it is still a great addition to any wardrobe and the more people who order the more likely the price will go down! Bar the beanie hat these will all have your name, your committee position or a nickname, a Yorksport logo and our logo on the back. The colour scheme will be the standard black and white. If you would like some fantastic merchandise, just reply to this email with the subject "Merch 2011/12", your name, your desired order and your size. Try to let me know what you want by Thursday 2nd February, I will then organise money collection and make the order.
