| YUKC Elections Thursday Week 3 |
| Hi Everybody!
So, you should all have heard that the YUKC is holding its annual elections this coming Thursday 8th May (Week 3). If you were thinking of standing for any of the available positions, outlined on the elections page of the online forum then reply to this e-mail and I can add you onto the list. We’ll be running to a tight schedule on Thursday, as we have a fair few candidates already standing for the new committee so we’ve decided to get the ball rolling at 7pm. This may seem early to lots of you, but if we want to hit Gallery then we’ll have a lot to get through, and also if you get there at 7pm you’ll have more chance of getting free booze! We’ll be meeting in G/045A that’s in Goodricke Maths department at 7pm. We really would love to see as many of you there as possible, as the committee is in place to represent all our members! If you could reply to this e-mail to say you are coming and whether you want a q-jump for Gallery and I can try and get everyone some on Thursday (hopefully they’re still only £2 each). So to sum up- 7pm G/045A – FREE BOOZE – and if you haven’t already stood for a position let me know and I’ll add you to the list! Also if you haven’t signed up for Leeds on Wednesday yet I believe there are a couple of spaces, so while you still have some money get yourselves signed up! See you all Thursday. | Social WK2 - Toffs |
| Everyones exams are over (expect for Drage), so it's time to celebrate! We're heading to Toffs this week, and since it is a bit of a building site we will have to get appropreately drunk so that we don't notice! Although if you're racing in the inter-uni it might be a good idea not to get to drunk. I'm torn myself. For a change we will be meeting in Hanson Cab at 8pm, and then moving on the Vodka Revs, Varsity, etc... Hope to see you all then, Harris |
